Fighting for affordable healthcare, economic opportunity, and climate action for every family in Suffolk County. Together, we can build a stronger, more prosperous community.
As a medical doctor, I have witnessed firsthand the burden of soaring healthcare costs. This, coupled with rising prices for everyday goods, groceries, gas, utilities, housing, and education, is relentlessly squeezing Long Island families. It doesn’t have to be this way. I am running for Congress to use my expertise to fight for real change and to promote laws that support working families, not just billionaires.
We need to acknowledge that Congress is broken. The House slumped to historic levels of paralysis and inactivity in 2025. We need more representatives in Congress who understand their responsibilities serving as a voice of the people, drafting and working to pass bills that address the needs of everyday Americans, managing the budget to meet those needs, and conducting oversight of the executive branch.
These are the critical issues facing our district, and I’m committed to delivering real solutions for Suffolk County families.
Whether you have private or public insurance (Medicare, Medicaid) government cuts to healthcare drive up costs for everyone. When people without insurance seek care, those costs are eventually passed on to all of us through higher premiums and other charges.
The cost of living on Long Island is too high. In addition to healthcare, the high cost of housing, groceries, education, and utilities make life more difficult and our aspiration of achieving the American Dream less likely.
This Congress has been the least productive in 25 years despite one party controlling both houses. We desperately need legislation to address issues such as healthcare, housing, and immigration.
We must Increase federal small-business grants and low-interest lending, expand workforce training, and support affordable, high-quality education to prepare local workers for good jobs.
Secure federal funding to improve commuter rail, expand bus service, and strengthen local transit and EV infrastructure so our communities stay connected.
Enforce clean-water standards, fund restoration projects, and support sustainable fisheries and shellfish harvesting to protect local ecosystems and livelihoods
